Wishing you all a relaxing summer holiday, we would like to provide you with important details regarding the organization of AGORA scientific platforms and services during the summer break, from July 1st to August 20th, 2023.
Scientific platforms:
Flow cytometry Facility (“FCF”):
There will be no interruption of the FCF facility services during the summer holidays. In case of questions, please contact Mr. Labes, Danny.Labes@unil.ch.
In Vivo Imaging Facility (“IVIF”):
There will be no interruption of the IVIF facility services during the summer holidays. In case of questions, please contact Dr. Benechet, Alexandre.Benechet@chuv.ch.
AGORA In Vivo Center (“AIVC”):
There will be no interruption of the animal facility services, in accordance with the guidelines of the Cantonal Veterinary Service. Ms. Grandjean will be on vacation from Friday evening, July 7th until Monday, August 7th with limited access to emails. All usual activities/services will be provided by the AIVC staff with the exception of “introductory AIVC orientations”. Thank you for using the shared email box “dfr.aivc-staff@chuv.ch” for communication with the AIVC staff during this period.
Mouse Pathology Facility (“MPF”):
There will be no interruption of the MPF facility services during the summer holidays. In case of questions, please contact Ms. Noguet, Veronique.Noguet@chuv.ch.
Cellular Imaging Facility (“CIF”):
There will be no interruption of the IVIF facility services during the summer, except between Monday, July 17th and Wednesday, August 2nd. During this time, the platform will remain accessible for self-service by experienced AGORA users with a support from CIF extensions in Epalinges, Bugnon or Dorigny sites. Bioengineering & Organoids Technology platform (“BET”):
There will be no interruption of the BET platform services during the summer holidays. In case of questions, please contact Dr. Pardon, Gaspard.Pardon@epfl.ch.
Core services:
IT service/data management unit:
There will be no interruption of the IT/data management services during the summer. In case of questions, please contact Mr. Erard, Fabrice.Erard@chuv.ch.
Logistics services & agora shop:
All provided services will remain operational during the summer holidays, including the deliveries and pick up by Fedex & other companies. In case of questions, please contact Ms. Nicole, Beija.Nicole@chuv.ch/Mr. Fernandez, Didier.Fernandez@chuv.ch
Washing & Sterilisation service and Biological waste disposal:
All services will remain operational during the summer holidays. In case of questions, please contact Ms. Lipinska, Elzbieta.Lipinska@chuv.ch.
Laboratory Solutions Production platform:
The platform will be closed between Monday, July 3rd to Monday, July 17th. All solutions & plates were prepared in advance for summer holiday season. The new orders will be accepted again starting from Monday, July 17th. In case of questions, please contact Ms. Lipinska, Elzbieta.Lipinska@chuv.ch.
Administrative office (badges & access & arrival of new collaborators):
The office will be closed between Monday, July 24th to Wednesday, August 2nd. In case of questions, please contact Ms. Cuendet, Muriel.Cuendet@chuv.ch.
ISREC Reception:
The foundation’s reception desk will be closed between Monday, July 17th to Monday, July 31st. During this period, it will not be possible to direct people arriving at reception, except for deliveries.
