Scientific platforms
Flow cytometry Facility (“FCF”):
As for previous years the FCF will be officially closed from 6.00 pm Friday, December 23rd to noon on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023. During this time there will be no FCF support or training, no sorting service and no possibility to organize repair. All analytical flow cytometers will be available for use by experienced users with valid access cards. In case of questions, please contact Mr. Labes, Danny.Labes@unil.ch.
In Vivo Imaging Facility (“IVIF”):
The IVIF will be closed from 6.00 pm Friday, December 23rd to Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 without support on the site. The platform will remain accessible for self-service by experienced users with valid access cards during this time period. AGORA In Vivo Center (“AIVC”):
There will be no interruption of the animal facility services, in accordance with the guidelines of the Cantonal Veterinary Service. Ms. Grandjean will be on vacation from 6.00 pm Friday, December 23rd to Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023. In case of questions, please contact Ms. Grandjean, Isabelle.Petitdemange-Grandjean@chuv.ch.
Mouse Pathology Facility (“MPF”):
The MPF will be closed from 4.30 pm Tuesday, December 20th to Thursday, January 5th, 2023 without support on the site. The platform will remain accessible for a self-service by experienced users with valid access cards during this time period. In case of questions, please contact Ms. Noguet, Veronique.Noguet@chuv.ch.
Cellular Imaging Facility (“CIF”):
The CIF will be closed from 6.00 pm Friday, December 23rd to Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 without support on the site. In case of questions, please contact Dr. Bozzo, Luigi.Bozzo@chuv.ch.
Bioengineering & Organoids Technology platform (“BET”):
The BET will be operating with reduced staff during the Christmas holidays. Please contact staff members in advance if you plan to use any equipment or need assistance during this period. In case of questions, please contact Dr. Pardon, gaspard.pardon@epfl.ch.
Central services
IT service:
All provided IT services will remain operational during the Christmas holidays, except for:
- Monday, December 26th, 2022 and Monday, January 2nd, 2023
- Friday, December 30th, 2022 and Friday, January 6th, 2023

Logistics services & Agora shop:
All provided services will remain operational during the Christmas holidays, including the deliveries and pick up by the Fedex & other companies except on Monday, December 26th and Monday, January 2nd, 2023. In case you expect to receive the parcels, during the Christmas break, but you will be absent from the site, please provide precise indications to the logistics team about the storage conditions. Washing & sterilisation service and Biological waste disposal:

ISREC Foundation’s reception:
The ISREC Foundation’s reception will be closed from 4.30 pm Thursday, December 22nd to Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023.
The restaurant “Le Lab”:
The restaurant will be closed from 2.00 pm Friday, December 23rd to Monday, January 9th, 2023.
Microsynth Sequencing service:
There won’t be daily pick up between Monday, December 26th and Sunday, January 1st, 2023, but urgent request can be mailed by the regular post (please, find more information: https://www.microsynth.com).
