Organised by The Lake Geneva Swimming Association and in partnership with The Brain Tumour Charity, the Maillot d’Or is an ultra marathon swimming race along the full length of Lac Leman from Chillon Castle in the East to Geneva in the West. Three teams of swimmers compete continuously through day and night to cover the total distance of 70 km.
For this year’s Maillot d’Or, six cancer researchers (four members of Prof. Joyce’s lab) have teamed up to participate !
For 48 hours, starting Aug 13, 2022, Team CRABS will compete on behalf of The Brain Tumour Charity against teams from The Lewis Moody Foundation and The Brian Cross Memorial Trust – all for a common goal: to raise money to defeat brain tumours.
