Course on Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) in Research

The SCCL Oncology Patient lab partners with HUG and CHUV to offer a 3-module course on patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) in clinical research, co-developed by the Patient Lab, the Réseau PartnerREC and Patients partenaires PP+3P at HUG.

This course will be held in French over 3 half-days and will be organised by the Centres des formations at HUG and at CHUV. It is targeted at all patients, caregivers, researchers, and healthcare professionals that are eager to engage in PPIE in research.

One session per year will be held each at HUG and at CHUV. Participants of both institutions can take part in either session. The course will aim for a balanced number of patient/caregiver and researcher/healthcare professional participants.

This training is free of charge for all CHUV and HUG members, as well as for patients and caregivers.

The 2023 fall session will be held at HUG :

  • Thursday, October 12 : Module 1 – Les fondements du partenariat
    1:30 – 5 pm (HUG)
  • Friday, October 20 : Module 2 – Les bases du partenariat en recherche
    1:30 – 5 pm (HUG)
  • Friday, October 27 : Module 3 – Les conditions d’un partenariat réussi
    1:30 – 5 pm (HUG)

The 2024 spring session will be held at CHUV. The dates will be communicated soon.
