Dear colleagues,
To mark the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we warmly invite you to a “speed-dating” discussion event with women Principal Investigators from across Agora.
The format will be informal and interactive: small tables, each hosted by a different woman PI, offering a confidential and supportive space to ask all the questions you may not usually feel comfortable asking.
Topics may include, for example:
- Career paths and transitions
- Navigating academia and leadership
- Work–life integration and family choices
- Funding, promotion, and visibility
- Mentorship, sponsorship, and advocacy
- Challenges, setbacks, and lessons learned
Participants will rotate between tables, allowing time for open discussion with several speakers in an intimate setting.
