On March 8 – the International Women’s Day – the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research (LICR) hosts the first of two webinars featuring women leaders in cancer research, among them AGORA’s Johanna Joyce.
The webinars coincide with Women’s History Month, which is celebrated through March in the U.S. and UK. They will build on the issues raised in the report, continuing a discussion on the challenges faced by women in science, the policies and practices that can support gender equity in the field and the opportunities and rewards that come with a life of scientific inquiry. As in all Ludwig Scientific Insights webinars, attendees will be able to interact with the panelists and participate in the discussion.
